i have a "small" love for cookies. "cookies" was my nickname on the swim team growing up, i make them when i'm bored, when i'm stressed, when i'm happy, when i'm procrastinating, whenever we go somewhere i'm asked to bring: cookies! i've decided to tackle martha stewart's COOKIES cookbook this year. i have a team of tasters and my oven is ready to rock and roll!
How it works...
Since I have a wheat allergy, I cannot actually sample the cookies, so I make the cookies in the cookbook and give them to my testers. They rate the cookie from 1-5, with 5 being the very best! I also rate the cookie from 1-5 with difficulty to make and dish clean up! I would love to put recipes on here but don't really feel like being in a lawsuit with martha later, sorry folks.

taste tester of the week is for people that do not live within 1 house of mine, on the way to school, or co workers who regularly rate cookies, who would like to sample that week's cookies. you get a small box of cookies sent in the mail (wrapped in layers of plastic to hopefully preserve freshness.) in return you must provide your own critique, picture of you and/or your pet eating them or with them.

Essentials to a 5 star rated fully functioning Martha kitchen:
- brown sugar (dark & light)
- powdered sugar, never can have enough!
- parchment paper (use it or be forever sorry)
- hand held mixer with turbo (best for frosting)
- ruler (no, i'm not joking!)
- ok, skip the parchment paper and use silicone mats
- trusty stand mixer
- slim metal spatula

You should change your rating system to a 5 star system. How can anyone rate a cookie to the 100th decimal place??? I would weight your current ratings and convert those over to a friendlier star rating system. Just a thought....
