how easy are these to make? VERY. i'm still trying to grasp martha's concept of lining pans with parchment paper. i have an invention someday for this because seriously they taste good but don't look so hot. here is this mass of chaos going into the oven:

Are you just supposed to line the bottom of the pan with paper? Like, place the paper in and then cut out the bottom shape with a knife? I think I've seen my mom do it this way when baking 9" round cakes for layering.
