Double Chocolate Brownies

when only a cakey,
moist dense mass of
chocolate will do,
you only need 1 brownie
to make you happy

how easy are these to make? VERY. i'm still trying to grasp martha's concept of lining pans with parchment paper. i have an invention someday for this because seriously they taste good but don't look so hot. here is this mass of chaos going into the oven:yikes!
i seriously don't get it

  1. Are you just supposed to line the bottom of the pan with paper? Like, place the paper in and then cut out the bottom shape with a knife? I think I've seen my mom do it this way when baking 9" round cakes for layering.

  2. no, in martha's world you are supposed to allow for a 2" overhang. YEOW!
